Solvent-Free Silicone Coating Minimizes Misting, Enhances Production Efficiency in High-Speed Coating Operations

Dow has launched a new solvent-free and energy efficient silicone coating – SYL-OFF SL 184 which proves beneficial for high-speed coating operations of up to 1,600 meters per minute. It also boasts of reducing production downtimes for pressure sensitive laminates, non-stick packaging, coating for liners of technical adhesive tapes, and industrial release papers for the consumer market. The new coating also complies with food contact regulations which makes it suitable for food labeling applications.
