At this year’s SLAS Europe in Vienna which was held from May 19–21, Analytik Jena presented the new Pulsespencer series. The globally leading provider of analytical instrumentation and automation solutions is expanding its proven liquid handling portfolio with a new digital, contact-free dispenser series that enables sample preparation at ultra-low volumes. Designed for precise, non-contact operation, the Pulsespencer series sets new standards in modern research, states the company.

With the new Pulsespencer series, the firm introduced an innovative solution for the precise dispensing of reagents and cells. The systems operate with disposable cassettes and are based on three core capabilities: miniaturization, direct dilution, and fast volume distribution. Together, these capabilities form the foundation for more efficient and intelligent laboratory workflows. The Pulsespencer instruments are highly versatile and support a wide range of demanding applications—from genomics and proteomics to biochemical and cell-based assays, enzyme profiling, and primary screening, explains the firm.

The Pulsespencer R enables ultra precise, contact-free reagent dispensing, supporting assay miniaturization and rapid optimization.
