New Spaces at NUS for Advancing AI and Data Science

The National University of Singapore has recently inaugurated two new buildings – Sea Building and Sea Connect to advance the rapidly evolving fields in computing such as AI and data science. The University was able to establish these two structures thanks to the 50 million Singapore dollars it received from Sea Ltd.

Conserving Asian Horseshoe Crab Populations

Biologists have conducted the first comprehensive population genomic study of all three Asian horseshoe crab species: the mangrove horseshoe crab, coastal horseshoe crab, and tri-spine horseshoe crab. They have also established the first-ever genomic baseline dataset for these species, which lay the groundwork for targeted conservation planning.
