How to Measure the pH of Water-Based Paints Using a Mettler Toledo Sensor. Here are the steps:
Calibration:
Start by cleaning the pH sensor to ensure accurate readings.
Immerse the sensor in two calibration solutions with known pH values that are close to the expected pH of your paint.
Record the pH values from the solutions.
Remember to calibrate the sensor regularly for reliable measurements.
Verification:
Clean the sensor again before verifying its accuracy.
Place the sensor in a verification solution with a known pH value.
Compare the reading on the pH meter to the known value. If there's a discrepancy, adjust or recalibrate the sensor as needed.
