Holzminden/Germany –– Symrise has recently announced a strategic equity investment in Cellibre, a U.S.-based biotechnology company specializing in sustainable biomanufacturing. This partnership positions Symrise at the forefront of fermentation-derived ingredients that are better for both people and planet. It will initially focus on innovation across taste solutions and cosmetic actives, reinforcing its long-term competitiveness and sustainability leadership.

By partnering with Cellibre, Symrise gains preferred access to proprietary, fermentation-based technology, enabling scalable production of high-value ingredients across food, beverage, cosmetics, and nutraceutical sectors. With this investment, Symrise will leverage Cellibre’s world-class biotechnology platform to enable a more resilient supply chain, mitigating seasonal and cultivation variability.
