Washing Centrifuge Blood For Transfusion: Centrifuge for Serology Application
In order to facilitate routine tasks in transfusion center laboratories, Hettich has introduced the Rotolavit II washing centrifuge. It was developed for cross-matching, as well as antibody search and differentiation, and for cell washing in TB tests.
With the Rotolavit II, manufacturer Hettich says it is launching a trend-setting washing centrifuge. The most striking feature of the unit is its large touchscreen, which is intended to make daily operation much easier. In addition to a particularly high speed, the unit offers the user a wide range of configuration options for programs and processes, as well as the possibility to set up access in such a way as to make routine operation particularly straightforward.
These features are the result of experience gained over the past ten years with Hettich’s successful predecessor model, the company notes. In this way, the second generation should also guarantee consistent results of the highest quality as well as a long service life. The main field of application for the device is blood transfusion facilities.
